Highlights

How to use highlights

Highlights in Cubby are annotations that you and your team make on any piece of content. You can do highlights on a transcription, on an article, on a PDF, or anything else that you can add to Cubby (even just audio!).

Highlights are visible to everyone in your cubby, work on desktop and mobile, and once you’ve made them you can:

  • Download them as clips (for audio/video/YT/podcasts)
  • Export them out
  • Synthesize them with AI
  • Search through them
  • Leave notes on them
  • +Much much more!

Highlighting an article

To highlight an article, simply select any piece of text on a webpage and hit “Highlight”. After that, it’ll be visible for anyone in the same cubby.

Highlighting a PDF

To highlight a PDF, select any text and highlight just like an article, or hit the “box” icon in the top left. Once you’re in box mode you can select any area you’d like to highlight and save that!

Highlighting a transcript

To highlight a transcript, select any piece of text and highlight. You can then play it back and even download just that audio/video clips!
