How to make posts
Adding content to Cubby from the internet or your files is easy and can be done several ways:
-
Clicking “New Post”: Located in the top left corner of Cubby, the “New Post” button opens a window where you can add links, upload files, and choose the Cubby(s) to save to. You can also include notes and tags before clicking “save” to submit the posts.
-
CMD+V - Pasting in a link: Utilize the “CMD+V” shortcut to quickly add a link to Cubby. Copy the link to your clipboard, navigate to Cubby, and press “CMD+V” anywhere within the interface to trigger the post addition flow automatically.
-
Drag & Drop Files: Upload files from your computer by selecting them and dragging them onto the Cubby interface. Cubby will then prompt you to save and organize the files.
-
Chrome Extension: Simplify adding articles from your browser with our Chrome Extension. Highlight text on any webpage to create a highlight, and Cubby will add the post along with the corresponding highlight/note. Alternatively, click the Cubby Chrome extension icon while on any webpage to select the Cubby you want to save to.
-
iOS App: Add content while on the go using our iOS app. Tap the plus button in the bottom center of the app, then paste from clipboard, upload a file, or share the link via the iOS share menu, similar to sharing a text message.
